🔥 16 Inches in October? Mammoth Just Told Winter to Bring It On

Base is building. Stickers are free. And your gear better be tuned.

Hey ski fam,

🎉 Mammoth Just Got 16″ of Snow — and This Season’s About to Pop Off 🌨️
Mother Nature just turned on the hype machine.

Sixteen inches. In October. At Mammoth. 😳

I haven’t even pulled my skis out of the garage yet and the Sierra gods are already dropping pillows like it’s mid-season. The lifts haven’t started spinning—but if this is the pre-party, November 14 could be an all-time Opening Day.

And to celebrate… I’ve got gifts 🎁

🗓️ Mark It: November 14 Is Coming in HOT (Well, Cold. You Know What I Mean)
The mountain isn’t open yet, but Mammoth just confirmed Friday, November 14 as the launch day for 2025/26.

That’s less than a month away, folks. With 16″ already on deck, that base is building like a Jenga tower of dreams.

Here’s what to expect:

  • ❄️ Early base-building = smoother terrain prep

  • 🚡 Crews are in overdrive testing lifts and blowing snow

  • 🎿 High chance of a legit early opening—not just bunny hills and pizza turns

🔥 Snow Like This Deserves a Celebration (and Free Stuff)
To honor this early dump, we’re giving away our classic Mammoth stickers.

They’re retro. They’re rad. And they’re FREE—just cover shipping.

🧰 Your Pre-Storm Checklist (Before the Whole State Heads North)
Don’t get caught scrambling the night before. Here’s your game plan:

👢 Try on those boots
If they feel like medieval torture devices, it’s time to upgrade.

⚙️ Tune your gear
Nothing worse than sticky bases or dull edges on fresh pow.

🏋️‍♀️ Fire up those legs
Wall sits. Squats. Step-ups. Anything to keep you from bonking on Broadway.

🚗 Prep the car kit
Chains. Snacks. A playlist that makes you drive like you're chasing first chair.

🎉 What’s After Opening Day? You’re Gonna Wanna Stick Around

Here’s a peek at what’s coming to Mammoth:

🧒 Dec 7–13: Kids Ski Free Week — 12 and under ride for nada
🎆 Dec 14: Night of Lights — Fireworks + live music = holiday magic
🎧 Every Fri/Sat: Après Parties at Canyon Lodge — DJs in gondolas, no big deal

💣 Sasha’s Truth Bomb
Don’t let early snow psych you out.

👉 You don’t need the latest skis to be stoked
👉 You don’t need flawless form to have fun
👉 You just need to show up—and slide

Opening Day isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present. That first turn? It’s medicine. It’s ritual. It’s how we remember why we wait all year for this.

✨ The Big Lesson
This isn’t a drill. The season is already flexing.

If you want those first tracks, you gotta move now. Pull your gear. Book your trip. Stick the sticker. Get ready.
