Originally, Mammoth planned to open Friday, Nov 14.
But then Mother Nature showed up with a big "hold my beer."

A winter storm warning was issued for elevations above 9,000 ft, with up to 12 inches of snow expected.
So Mammoth made the smart call to delay opening until Saturday, Nov 15, giving their ops team time to prep the terrain while the skies do their thing.

This means Saturday morning could deliver:
• First tracks on real snow
• Uncrowded lifts
• And that crisp, clean “first ride of the season” energy
