(Yes, it’s a real workout. Yes, it’s hilarious. Yes, you need a towel.)

Powder skiing is magical. Until your legs give out like wet spaghetti on run two.
And if you’re a weekend warrior from SoCal? You need more than good intentions.

That’s why I invented the most ridiculous, surprisingly effective dryland ski workout ever:
The Margarita Powder Circuit.

🏖 Blame It on Baja

This all started with a mango margarita and a rogue beach wave.

Last spring I got body-slammed by a breaker in Baja. Came up looking like a sand-dusted churro… but the drink? Still in hand.

That got me thinking:
Staying balanced under chaos? That’s exactly what powder skiing is.
So I started building a training plan—equal parts strength, balance, and laughs. And yes, the drink is part of the workout.

🏋️‍♀️ Margarita Powder Moves

What you need:

  • A drink (tequila optional but encouraged)

  • A towel

  • A clear space (and maybe a friend to film your wipeouts)

Here’s what we do:

🥶 Frozen Margarita Lunges
Like a wide powder stance. Stay slow, stay low, and keep that drink level or you’re doing five burpees.

🍧 Slushy Side Slides
Towel under each foot, glide left to right like you’re slashing Mammoth trees. Core tight, arms steady.

🍹 Spritz Squat Holds
Drop deep like you’re landing a cliff drop. Hold it ‘til your quads cry. Sip if you dare.

🌵 Tequila Tree Pose
Powder’s about balance. So is this one-legged toast to the snow gods.

💡 Why It Works

Powder skiing demands:

  • Crazy balance

  • Fireproof quads

  • Core engagement like you’re dancing on jello

This workout sneaks in all the muscles you’ll need, wrapped in enough fun to forget it’s exercise. 😎
