The Forecast is Teasing Snow — but Oktoberfest is Coming in Hot

Early flakes at Mammoth and steins at Mountain High? October is full of surprises.

❄️ Snow might fall in Mammoth tonight — but don’t grab your powder skis yet

👋 Hey ski fam,

It’s Sasha — and I’ve got one eye on the thermometer and the other on my ski boots. While SoCal’s still sun-soaked, Mammoth’s mountaintops could flirt with the season’s first snow tonight.

📍 The reality?

  • A cold front’s moving through

  • Temps are dipping near freezing up high

  • A light dusting is possible in the highest elevations

No full send yet — but it’s enough to stir that early-season stoke.

So keep your jacket handy, check the cams, and maybe whisper a snow prayer before bed. The mountain hears you. 🌨️

🍺 Meanwhile, closer to home…

It’s October — and that means Oktoberfest is BACK at Mountain High!

If Mammoth’s tempting with snowflakes, Mountain High’s serving steins and schnitzel. So whether you're riding out the dry spell or chasing fall fun, here's where the good vibes are flowing.

📅 Dates: Oct 4–5, 11–12, 18–19
🎶 Music: Anton Schnitzel & the Merrymakers, live from 12–4pm
🍻 Eats & Drinks: steins overflowing, German eats, killer views

👧 Family Fun Includes:

  • Pumpkin decorating

  • Face painting

  • Bounce houses

  • Hay-bale mazes

  • Games, contests, nonstop fun

It’s everything Oktoberfest should be — mountain-style.
